Let’s face it, you have countless cycling training options available to you ranging from local spin studios to Peloton, the Goliath of the industry. Why should you consider GreshFit? What makes us different?

Our training philosophy

Many cycling training programs focus solely on Functional Threshold Power (FTP). That's the maximum power you can sustain for an hour. These training programs can be effective for some cyclists. However, most neglect to build the basics required to optimize their results. 

Maximizing overall cycling fitness requires a series of items to be in balance. Focusing on just one without the other will not yield maximum results. We all are familiar with the weakest link in the chain analogy.

The three key factors in overall cycling fitness are: cardiovascular fitness, leg strength, and pedaling efficiency. An imbalance or weakness in any of these will impact your overall cycling fitness and therefore the FTP you can produce.

The GreshFit training regime focuses on each of these critical areas ensuring an optimal balance in your overall fitness. You will be able to ride faster, ride longer, ride harder and most importantly, enjoy riding your bike more!

What Equipment Do I Need?

OK, we doubt our coaches will be heavily recruited for the Hollywood style productions of Peloton :) But, that doesn’t mean our crew is any less capable of providing you an engaging and fun training experience!

Our coaches come from a wildly diverse professional background ranging from stand up comedy to global software management. They each have decades of cycling experience. What they all share is a passion to help others achieve their cycling objectives.

They take the time to understand each participant’s cycling goals and objectives and will explain the science behind how each component of the training session relates to the those goals and overall cycling fitness.

Most importantly, our coaches care about you. Remember the last time you had a bad day? Maybe you took the red-eye, didn’t fuel properly, or were just stressed out with life’s demands… Whatever the reason, chances are you weren’t able to perform at your normal level. Our coaches will notice because they know you, and instead of blindly urging you on, they will subtly suggest you assess how you feel and offer the opportunity to dial the workout back so you can complete it comfortably.

We’re able to achieve this level of personal attention in both our in-studio and virtual training options. Our virtual training session use Zwift and Zoom and are limited in size so our instructors can see everyone and provide the appropriate guidance to each participant.

Here’s the real truth… A typical cycling indoor workout is incredibly boring. We understand that reality and purposely build variety into our workouts to make them so much more than a pain cave suffer fest.

In addition, each workout has an individually curated music playlist that matches the cadence prescribed by the workout. You just close your eyes, imagine the road beneath your wheels and let the rhythm of the song carry you through each interval.

GreshFit is a community!

Yeah, we know you can train inside on your own. But, we also know the additional motivational factor of riding with friends and the accountability that comes with regularly scheduled training sessions with a group.
